Selecting the Right Size

For long-time trouble free performance, the size of the meter selected should be primarily based on the continuous flow in GPM, rather than pipe size. The life of a meter will be greatly reduced if it is continuously operated at or near its maximum delivery rate. The first step, therefore, should be to determine the continuous rate of flow in your system. For example, if this is determined to be about 25 GPM, a 1″ meter should be chosen rather than a 3/4″ size
