When long meter life, good tolerance to contaminants, and high accuracy are needed in an economical totalizing water meter, Carlon’s MJL line of multijet meters are what you need. The MJL line has a well deserved reputation for excellence in the world of commercial, municipal, and residential water meters. The registers are easy to read and will retain their clear view display. The MJL meter is available in sizes from 1/2″ to 2” and operates at flow rates up to 160 GPM and pressures of 150 psi. These ratings are well beyond what you will encounter for your commercial, municipal, and residential metering needs. The bronze housing of the MJL meters meet or exceed AWWA specifications.

Do you want to read more meters faster while eliminating water consumption discrepancies? Easy. Install one of Carlon’s MJLR series meters, which come with a digital remote counter and 25 foot cable. The result is an accurate, compact, and reliable outside visual readout system. For greater distances, we have designed a remote “powered” counter which may be installed up to 1000 feet from the meter. Although non-resettable counters are standard, we also can offer a resettable counter, if that is required for the application. These 8 digit counters match the volume amount shown on the meter registers. Carlon’s MJLR System is easy to install, easy to read and is also tamper proof. As an added benefit, each unit is sealed to keep out dirt, insects, and moisture.

*The size of the meter selected should be based upon continuous flow, GPM, as opposed to pipe size. For example, if it is determined that continuous flow is 25GPM, a 1″ meter should be selected rather than a 3/4″ meter.
